About this role

Baristas prepare and serve a variety of specialty beverages including coffee, tea, and espresso-based drinks using provided recipes and proper techniques. They serve prepared food items and baked goods while greeting guests in a friendly manner. This role supports a fast-paced food and beverage environment at Live! Hospitality & Entertainment.

Day-to-day duties involve cleaning and sanitizing work areas, seating areas, equipment, and tools. Maintain inventories by replenishing coffee, stocking supplies, and reporting ordering needs to supervisors daily. Use POS for order entries and process credit card and cash payments accurately.

Interact with guests, bartenders, wait staff, cooks, and supervisors using communication skills frequently. Must be courteous, pleasant, and good natured while speaking fluent English, with other languages preferred. Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

The position requires handling items up to 50 pounds, standing and moving efficiently throughout the facility, and bending or stooping as needed. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is essential. Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

At least 1 year of serving in a fast-paced food and beverage venue
Knowledge of specialty beverages such as coffee, tea and espresso-based drinks
Previous experience operating espresso and coffee machines preferred
Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred
Must be courteous, pleasant, and good natured
Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
Able to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Able to handle, carry or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and stand/move about the facility during shifts
