Head Barista

We're on the lookout for a Head Barista, a leader that develops their team, someone who lives and breathes specialty coffee, thrives under pressure. This is a hands-on, leadership position for a seasoned barista who’s ready to take the reins of a high-volume, coffee-focused venue. You’ll set the tone on the bar and collaborate closely with Axil’s training manager to ensure coffee quality is at its absolute peak.

Your day-to-day will include leading all coffee operations and ensuring quality control. Dial in and oversee consistent espresso and brew execution while coaching and developing the barista team. Manage workflow and bar efficiency during peak service, liaise with kitchen and front-of-house teams, and uphold cleanliness and café standards.

Work in a collaborative environment with award-winning baristas, roasters and trainers, plus a supportive operations team that gets the demands of a specialty venue. Take a collaborative approach, comfortable managing the pass or running floor as you are behind the machine. Help shape a culture of coffee excellence and team unity.
