About this role

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Barista position. Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and standards for quality food-service operations.

Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes. Enters orders accurately into POS device and accepts cash and charge payments. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.

Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures while following HACCP standards. Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils. Prepares food using approved recipes and prescribed production standards.

Requirements

Previous barista experience preferred
Ability to handle food according to HACCP guidelines and standards
Skill in preparing espresso drinks using standard measures and recipes
Proficiency with POS devices for accurate order entry and payments
Knowledge of portion control, presentation, and serving temperatures
Capability to maintain sanitation of equipment and service areas
Customer-focused interaction in a friendly, courteous manner
